Hello James,
We thought that you might be excited to see pictures of the gum and glasses that we got for you in Las Vegas. We also picked out another small suprise, but you will have to wait until you see us to get it. We love you and miss you and we will see you soon.

Gum for James!! Yummy!

Hello to James from Las Vegas!

Hello James, how are you? This is Mommy & Daddy writing to you from Las Vegas. We hope that you are having lots of fun with Grandma and Grandpa. Have you had a chance to do some visiting with your cousins and Aunts and Uncles? We are at a hotel called the Flamingo. We have a nice view from our room but the temperature isn't as warm as last year so we have to dress warm to go outside. Is it cold in Guelph? Do you have snow? You might be able to leave a comment at the bottom of this post if Grandma and Grandpa want to give it a try.

 1. This is a picture of some of the buildings in Las Vegas.
 2. This is the view from our room. Lots of people came to Las Vegas to get married on 11/11/11.
 3. This is Mommy & Daddy at the Grand Canyons on Saturday.
 4. This is another picture of buildings in Las Vegas.
Do you recognize this one? It is a replica of the Statue of Liberty.
5. This is Mommy & Daddy at the Las Vegas sign.
This is a silly picture that a volunteer at the sign took for us.

Today is our last full day here because we will be leaving to fly home tomorrow. We will be home after you go to bed tomorow night. We miss you very much and can't wait to see you very soon.
We will try to Skype you again today but we only have the internet for a little while longer so if we don't reach you we will see you late tomorrow night.

We love you, James. xoxox

New Daycare Today

My dearest, James...
Today you are starting a new daycare and it was not an easy transition for us. You have been with me most of the time for the last several weeks and I know that you wished you could stay home with me today...But I also know that you will have fun with the other children at daycare, once you give it a chance. Kyle is there also and I know that you will be looking out for him. You are a big boy now, almost 4 years old - and we love you very much.
We were blessed to have another great Christmas with each other and with friends and family. Santa came to bring all sorts of great goodies to Grandma & Grandpa's house. You got a marble racer, a new fishing pole, Kung Zhu armour, a bay blade and Megablocks Dragons. Pretty cool.
You are such a sweet boy and I hope you had a great Christmas. You deserve it! The next exciting time around here will be your birthday in February. You have requested to go to the pool to do some swimming with your friends and cousins. Sounds like a plan.
Well, I'd better get some work done before it is time to pick you and your brothers up. I miss you already so I will be anxious to see you. I hope you are able to come around and have a good day there.
Love from Momma xoxo

Thrilling Dance Moves

Jacob loves to dance to Beat It & Thriller. He wanted to post this video on his blog.

Jacob says, "I like Michael Jackson because he is the best singer in the world. My favorite songs are Thriller & Beat It. Below you will see me dancing to Thriller with my brothers. Someday I hope to take dance lessons and learn how to be a performer (singer & dancer) when I get bigger."

MJ Influence

All three boys have developed a passion for dancing to the cool beats of various Michael Jackson songs. It started when their childcare provider and her children got them dancing to Thriller in preparation for a planned Halloween show for parents. A friend brought them over their first Michael Jackson CD, This Is It, and the rest is history...

We listen to MJ in the van and at home. They like Thriller, Beat It, Jam and Billy Jean the best. My favorite is "Man in the Mirror". Everyone should listen to that song - it has a great message.

James also likes to sing. He even got up in front of a large group of students at camp to sing some Beat It lyrics.
"Beat It" has also been among Kyle's first words.

Geesh. Who knew.

Hello again from Las Vegas!

Hello James,

How are you? We are good. We are just making dinner. It is only 6:40pm here but will be 9:40pm there. You will already be in bed! Anyway, we miss you lots and I wanted to post a picture of what we did today, which was horseback riding! Daddy's horse's name was "big Joe". I can't remember what mine was called. I rode on a girl horse. We were out near Red Rock Canyon in Nevada. I have lots of pictures, but will only post a few here. Miss you and see you soon,

MOMMY & DADDY

11-06-10: Hello from Las Vegas

Hello cutie-James,

How are you? We are good. We just spoke to you on Skype. It was really great to talk to you. We are just heading out the door but I wanted to post you a sneak-peek at your special gift. You said that you really wanted a snowglobe so Daddy and I looked high and low for the perfect one just for you. We found a Las Vegas snowglobe and we are bringing it home with us tomorrow. Do you like it?
We love you James, see you tomorrow.
